a blue background with a quote from the author Just shooting you a memail saying that if you
really want to find a place where there are a lot
of geek girls, then conventions are the place to
do it.

The basic thing that so many chaps don't seem
to realise are that there are plenty of places
where the percentage of geek chicks is just as
great as the percentage of blokes in the tech
world. And in these areas, if a chap is
enthusiastic and non-creepy, the odds are
extremely good for him. Livejournal is one such
place. Various fandom conventions are another.
(Comicon less so due to, well, the comics.)
Alternatively, I'd second the recommendation of
the BDSM community. It's absolutely stuffed
with all stripes (from literary to techy to sci-fi) of
smart geek girls. Geek girls who are quite
comfortable with dressing up in delightful tiny
clothing and doing naughty things to each other.
Ablokes chances in a club/atmosphere of this
persuasion are also rather good.
Just some thoughts.
